Wrapping up this week of Divined inspirations from the Association for the Study of Women and Mythology Conference I attended last week, with this image. This dolmen is from the Columcille Megalith Park, adjacent to the site of the conference. What an incredible place!

For more information about this incredible undertaking, which will be created from 1.5 million tons of earth, and take two years to complete, please read this article from BBC news, which includes a video of artist Charles Jencks, who designed the sculpture, explaining why this image is non-offensive. While it is amazing  that this Landscape Goddess is being created at all, we are presented with yet another reiteration of the view that women's bodies are something that need to be censored, rather than being something to celebrate.
